Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at katherineseamanjewellery@gmail.com and the return address details will be emailed to you.

If your return is accepted, please arrange return postage. Please note that the buyer is responsible for return fees and recommended to return through Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as bespoke or personalised items).  We also do not accept returns for earrings due to hygiene reasons. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Ring Resizing

All rings are made to the UK ring size requested by the customer when placing your order. For UK customers, if you receive your ring and it does not fit you, there will be a small charge of £15 (but may be more depending on the design) to have your ring resized. If the ring is to be sized over 3 sizes the ring may need to be remade which will incur the original price of the ring. To avoid this please request a ring sizer at checkout or check your ring size at a local jewellery shop. If the ring requires resizing please email us within 7 days of receiving your order to arrange resizing. You will be asked to send the ring back in it’s original box via Royal Mail Special Delivery (so it is insured) and you are responsible for the postage and it’s cost.

 

Guarantee

All Katherine Seaman Jewellery comes with a 6 month guarantee. All repairs will be done free of charge as long as the damage is done through normal use. Please take note of the care instructions that come with each order. Katherine Seaman Jewellery takes no responsibility if the damage is done through carelessness, misuse or failure to read the care instructions provided.

For higher priced items it is advised that the customer arranges insurance for their jewellery. Katherine Seaman Jewellery isn't liable for any losses of jewellery or gemstones. 

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
